Industry Scope

    China's timber conservation Development Center (hereinafter referred to the center), established in October 1993, on the basis of the Office of timber conservation of the former State Economic Commission, and approved by Central Organization Committee Office, is responsible for the management of timber industry. The purpose of the center is to provide alternative timber conservation technical services of the state forest resources protection. Main functions are as follows:
1. Study out development planning and policy measures of the timber alternative industry;
2. Review and implement of wood saving alternative projects;
3. Research and develop of new technology, new materials, new processes and new product of timber conservation alternative;
4. Organize related technical training and information consultation.
Center has one departments, two offices and four (Holdings) companies, which are the office, the treasury, the Office of industry management, comprehensive development ministry, the ministry of development, the promotion of research and development, the editorial department of "China's Wood Protection," and Beijing Yuantong Material Corporation, Beijing Zhongzu Lianmo Technology Ltd., Shandong Zibo Qijing new construction equipment Ltd. Chinese timber protection net "alternative timber conservation newsletter", and magazine"China Wood protection", established by center, are the authoritative media in China to publicize policies and regulations of timber conservation alternative and introduce Chinese and foreign new technologies, new materials, new techniques, and New equipment, new products of timber save maintenance, and take foreign exchange and technical discussions. Meanwhile, the Chinese Association for the Protection of wood (chips), China Magnesite Industry Association, China template Leasing Association committees are all linked leasing of the center. However, the excessive consumption of timber will have a direct impact on forest resources protection and the improvement of the environment. Wood saving alternative is to make rational use of wood or non-wood materials to replace wood, reduce the consumption of wood, protect forest resources and promote the improvement of ecological environment by the means of advanced technology and modern management tools. Its content covers all fields of timber production, distribution and consumption, and so on, including comprehensive utilization of timber, timber protection, reuse of wood and metal, plastics, wood, cement, Magnesite, crop residues, and other materials substituting wood and other aspects. It is not only an important work with wide cover and high technic, but also a social welfare undertaking. Center workers willing to work with community colleagues to make new contributions to China's timber conservation alternative development, rational use of timber resources, forest protection and promotion of human harmony with nature.

　China's Wood Protection Network is the only authority website in China, the main contents of which is to promote alternative timber conservation (including timber protection).
